Probably the lightest (and most well designed !) bench you can buy. Ideal for easy movement and storage , particularly in primary schools. The frame is manufactured in aluminium for minimal weight and can be supplied with either upholstered or timber tops in a choice of 4 colours. The bench can also be used inverted as the base is fitted with an unobstructed 100mm carpeted balance rail. The top is protected from damage when used upside down by large specially designed rubber feet which give excellent grip and stability. Hooks are provided at both ends to link the Lita^®bench to other equipment.

Manufactured using computer-controlled machinery from a timber-based material that will not warp, split or shrink. A low cost option to traditional benches especially suitable for the nursery and primary school markets. Complete with a 100mm (4”) balance rail underneath and rubber buttons on the top. Hooks at one end enabling the bench to be attached to other items of equipment. Castors can also be supplied at one end. Bench top width 230mm, height 290mm.

ActivBench Coloured Unit\Sets

Designed primarily for school use this bench is a lighter and economical alternative to the Traditional Balance Bench. Manufactured from natural selected timber from sustainable sources, this bench is designed without siderails to minimize weight. The balance rail on the underside is 100mm wide so that the bench can also be used inverted. Non marking rubber feet for stability and non marking rubber buttons on the top to prevent damage.
Available in team colours with the colour applied in the form of colour stain and varnish which will not chip or crack. All the benches can also be supplied with castors (the castors engage only when the opposite end of the bench is lifted).
Dimensions: 2000mm or 2500mm long x 340mm high x 240mm wide at the top and 330mm wide at the base.
Weight: 2m bench – 14kg
2.5m bench – 18kg

Manufactured from natural selected timbers from sustainable sources, this bench features components colour stained in red, blue green and yellow for additional variety.
The bench has hardwearing and non marking rubber feet providing stability, with non marking rubber buttons on the top to give stability when used inverted. Wooden battens at one end allow the bench to be securely attached to other equipment.
Available in two sizes and also with castors for ease of movement

Traditional Balance Benches

Traditional Balance Bench hooks at both ends

These traditional balance benches are superbly constructed to the highest standards. Each bench leg is jointed into both the bench top and the bench foot. This method of construction, combines with a dovetailed balance rail, produces a bench with optimum structural stability. Hardwood fillets in the bench top ends prevent splitting. Hard wearing non-marking rubber feet provide stability and protect the floor while rubber buttons on the top provide protection when the bench is inverted enabling the 65mm wide balance rail on the underside to be used. Durable nylon hooks allow the bench to be attached securely to other equipment such as a climbing frame or trestles.The bench is also available with castors at one end for easier transportation.

Weight : 1.83m bench is 11kg approx, 2.67m bench is 17kg approx and the 3.35m bench is 24kg approx.
