Polymeric Rubber is a Comfortable, Shock-Resistant Sports Surface.These two-layered polymeric rubber sports surface systems provide a comfortable, shock-Resistant Sports Surface as well as being a multi sport surface for schools.Polymeric systems conform to performance standards for most sports where safety and comfort are prioritised.

Technically speaking, they are made up of a synthetic base of styrene-butadiene rubber, usually laid by the machine to a 10mm thickness. Sprayed onto this is a 2-3mm wearing coat of ethylene propylene diene monomer (EPDM) mixed with a polyurethane binder.

This creates a surface with a high degree of shock absorbency and  high slip-resistance sports flooring .
